A poorly adjusted ground adjustable prop will make a nice plane unpleasant to fly with seeming unending throttle setting changes in attempt to hold steady engine RPM in cruise flight. Cruise speed and fuel economy will also be reduced.
It is worth the time to get it right. For the 912 guys go up to a regular altitude you fly at, set the A/P and advance the throttle full forward. If the RPM easily goes beyond 5600 you will be able to gain speed and economy by increasing pitch. If you have it fully advanced and you get to 5600-5650 but not beyond you are perfect. If you cannot get to 5600 you are overpitched.

Thanks Mark, will do and will report back - hoping to get fully cleared by my surgeon for flying next Monday!
