grantopperman,
How to post an image is not intuitive. Drag and drop works after you click on the correct menu icon at the top. I never see my image after drag and drop. I click on "create post." Then the finished post shows the image.

As stated in the P2008 maintenance manual page 82 the shock- absorber has to be disassembled to inspect the O rings and Slydring at the 300 hour or 6 year time, but Tecnam will not sell the replacement parts even tho they provide the instructions in the manual to do the work.
Josh at Tecnam USA parts says it's because there's a load test needed after reassemble that needs to be preformed, Yea I know why can't that be done here? He also said Italy may be issuing a directive concerning this as soon as this week.

I downloaded from your link and NCA 59 says: Subject: P2008 NLG Shock Absorber Overhaul. Scope: According to the experience gained, Tecnam informs customers that the NLG Shock Absorber Overhaul time limits for P2008 LSA aircraft can be extended to each 800 hrs/3 years (whichever occurs first) from the current time limits (each 600 hrs/3 years WOF). The abovementioned time limits will be included in the next revision of the P2008 LSA Maintenance Manual.
