Has anyone ever had a TPS failure? I think my mine is on it's way out. I have all of the symptoms:
Lack of power/drop in RPMs on climb out Sudden acceleration at cruise Increased fuel consumption
I'm going to order a replacement tomorrow. Hoping that will solve the issue.
PS - this is on a 912iS.

I had a similar issue but it turned out to be the carburetor floats.

I'm just happy not to be the butt of the "what's a carburetor?" jokes anymore!

Replaced the TPS (actually the entire throttle body - you can't order the sensor by itself). I think the problem is solved.

Sad to say, the issue returned this morning. Same symptoms. Back to square one.

Sad to say, the issue returned this morning. Same symptoms. Back to square one. That sucks! I hate trying to find gremlins. Maybe you should order a couple carburetors

Well it finally reached the point of throwing off a flashing Lane B light. We downloaded the fault codes this morning. Turns out it was an injector issue. Likely partially clogged. The new injector arrives tomorrow. We plan to install it on Wednesday.
