Other than the static "stick on" sun visors we can get from Sporty's, has anyone found a permanent install for the P2008?

I bought the Ram single mount suction cup with dark green visor, tried it once then went back to my LARGE sticky notes. Not much to attach to up there.

Yes the ram mounts work very well ...... We really need them here in the desert south west! Along with some nice tint it really provides a comfortable Flight......

I did the same thing. I bought a couple of Ram visors and they seem to work ok. Mark Gregor suggested that we ask Rosen if they had any plans to make visors for the 2008. Tecnam, from what I understand is not planning on this as an option

Tecnam currently is not going to pursue a visor solution but if enough interest is there we as owners may want to pursue it with Rosen.
I have been in contact with them and they have a fair amount of the work completed for the P2008 visor but would need financial a commitment before continuing. The people that pay to finish the project would get a percentage of each visor kit sold and we would need a business agreement.
Let me know if you are interested!

I would be in as well depending on the investment cost. The RAM visors are a reasonable cost-effective solution to the problem

Mark Any update on the visor situation? I headed east yesterday morning and had to hold an arm up to simulate a visor How many of us and how much each?

Hmmm, I always fly with a hat. Works about as good as a visor.

Tecnam, from what I understand is not planning on this as an option For those of you guys using the ram mount visors, am about to order them, still happy. Saw this review, may be yours on the pilot store site and having had Rosens in a Baron, Bonanza and 172 it would be nice to have Rosens but at what cost. Also in the end sometimes easy removal is a real plus, like flying at night during meteor showers, cleaning, etc so if you are having success with these please let me know. What I'm most concerned with is are they easy to position and do they stay where you put them, do the ram mounts stay attached during flight, have they ever fallen off? If you don't fly it for a week or so do you have to reattach them periodically? Thanks in advance for the useful information.

Update on Ram attached visors for the P2008. This is especially for rainstorm. The side mounted suction cups ended up not not working as well as I had hoped. It put the shade too far back in the cabin. But alas I believe I have another solution. I got the idea from a Cessna 177, Cardinal, Iโve ordered a double cup Ram suction and a 3 ball arm to attach to the suction and one to each shade. I think this idea is a winner and a lot less than the $1500 investment with Rosen. A CFII FRIEND, Patrick McKinsey , Mark Gregorโs partner suggested stick up a post it note. AS A SIDE NOTE YESTERDAY I TOOK DELIVERY OF MY NEW 2017 p2008 TC AND THERE WILL BE MORE LATER. Remember your plane is only as good as your salesman. Fortunately I bought mine from Mark, and boy am I glad I did. Iโm going to put down my experiences, stories and what I learned after spending $ 240K. Iโm going to entitle it. โAS THE PROPELLER SPINS, OR NOTโ
