Toung....
I use a Lightspeed 3 with a Lemo plug. You can buy the lemo receptacle kit and have your avionics shop do the install in-line with the existing plugs and pick up the 12V source from the nearby power point. The Lemo's can be on the backside of the existing plugs. Neat setup and no batteries needed. mb

What’s yours? Does it work well? I have a Lightspeed Zulu 3 battery driven - it works well but it’s a bit heavy. However, the headset seems to be indestructible from the cabling to the headset. I also have a Bose A20 battery driven - it’s lighter and more comfortable to wear for long stretches. However, it has not been dependable. In fact even though the headset is new, it’s on its way to Bose for repair. One other thing, I’d get a Bluetooth headset. It will come in handy. Good Luck!

Just curious, what happened? I've had two Bose A20's for almost a decade with no issues. +1 on the bluetooth recommendation.

I believe the control unit that contains the batteries, volume control etc. is defective. I only used the headset for 10 hours or less before it went bad. When I called Bose and gave them the serial number they immediately issued me a work order without even trying to diagnose and fix the problem over the phone. I got the impression that they may have a batch of headsets with the same problem.
I was pissed. Because of the headset issue, I was stuck grounded for almost a week not near my home and had to wait for a replacement headset. I went with the Lightspeed headset rather than buy another Bose. It was my way of protesting.
Lastly, prior to this problem with Bose, I owned many Bose aviation headsets. I only had a problem with one that was quite old. Bose fixed the headset at no charge to me.

Hi Toung,
Yes, I have had the Dave Clark One-X four years…….. I flew with the DC 13.4’s for years and decided to buy a noise reduction head set ( after trying them all ) They feel and fit great! Battery’s last well over 40 hours Totally happy with them. I think Bose makes a good head set as well….. Welcome to our forum! Please let us know your home airport Identifier

Thanks for every comments very useful for me finally I’ve got one of A20 and one DC one X. For built quality is DC one X. For sound quality is A20. For comfortable I love DC one X so A20 will be on my co-pilot head lol.
