I estimate I'm 2-3 weeks from delivery of this new Tecnam P2010 MkII (215 HP) in Sebring, FL. As you have seen in this thread I obtained my High Performance rating last year and now have 40.8 hours of HP time behind me. I also have 40.5 recent hours of G1000 time. I'm hoping these recent hours will help me obtain a good insurance rate or at least no restrictions that will delay me from flying the plane back from Florida (remember, I'm based in Southern California). I'll let you know here how it works out. Tom at Wings Insurance found me a great policy, very happy!

OP here. I'm sitting in KLGB waiting for my Southwest flight to Florida. Tomorrow is the big day where I take possession of the plane!
Thanks to Mark Woods, Delta Aviation for a deal I could not refuse!
Thanks to Greg Renna, Airfleet, and all at Airfleet for the amazing job to get me the best financing deal!
Thanks to Tom Hauge, Wings Insurance, and their fabulous team, especially Kelsey Nesland! I know they worked real hard to get me the best insurance deal! I couldn't be any happier with their customer service, and the cost and insurance company I ended up with.
And finally, thanks to Kenzie Boykin, AEROtitle for being so good and meticulous with the paperwork and monies!
And finally, thanks to ALL at Tecnam who built this plane in Italy, and rebuilt in Florida. It was a great experience to build the plane in the colors I wanted online, place my order with Delta Aviation, see the test flight on Flight Aware with my personalized tail #, and now soon to touch it. Only negative was it was supposed to take 3 months and it took six months to get here. And updates on the build, transport, and rebuild, were infrequent, and I'm not a patient person so I pretty much hounded them for information.
Stay tuned and follow my acceptance, training, and a real cross country to SoCal, KFUL.

Signed sealed and delivered on Tuesday 2/15/22! My brand new 2022 Tecnam P2010 MkII is now mine! (And the bank...) Well, not actually delivered, as I need a couple days of training before I get it home! Training took place Wednesday and Thursday as required by my insurance company and I'm now ready to fly it back to Southern California KFUL. Unfortunately, weather is not cooperating today as there is a cold front blocking my path to Tallahassee so I hope to depart tomorrow, Saturday February 19. Isn't she a beauty? Attachments:

Beautiful plane. Congrats. And enjoy the cross country flight. Make sure to fly over the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, land at Sedona for lunch, so many other fun things to do on the way home.

We made it to Gainesville about 4pm and then to Tallahassee about 6pm. Appears just Sebring area was the worse weather for so long, so eventually we headed N/W about 1500 feet and broke out to severe clear!
Depart in the morning tomorrow, lunch in Baton Rouge and spend the night in Austin (hopefully)!

Monday 2/21/22
Wow what a day! Delayed getting out of Austin TX KEDC due to weather and finally a take off with 17 kt crosswind. I headed to Pecos Texas for fuel and brisket burrito and ran into significant headwind and cross wind.
Saw moisture in the air near Pecos KPEQ and as I neared there was light rain but still VFR. Tried to land but too large a cross wind not enough rudder so aborted and headed over to Winkler County Texas KINK landed without issues. 4.0 on the Hobbs and filled up the tanks (61 gallon usable tanks).
Ready to go and checked El Paso weather and it was IFR with 50 mph wind and dust storms in the area. Obviously a no go. No hotel or taxi in Winkler so short flight (.5) over to Monahans Texas E01 where I found an outstanding FBO and borrowed a crew car to a local hotel.
So tomorrow Tuesday 2/22 I hope to be off early to El Paso. Then to Chandler Arizona. TAF looks promising.

This morning E01 to El Paso, Texas, without issue.
El Paso to Tucson AZ, without issue.
Tucson to Yuma AZ, without issue, for the night.
Storm coming into the area of San Diego up to Orange County so probably delay our start in the morning.
Hopefully we can go.up the beautiful coast line to Fullerton KFUL.

Sorry to see that Flightaware shows you had some fairly bumpy flights yesterday. A good workout for the autopilot I bet.
