I recently purchased a 2012 P2008 912is and I haven't put avgas in it since I got it 40 hours ago. I've hauled my fuel for years for my 912UL Lambada motorglider, which requires non-ethanol mogas because of the fiberglass wing tanks or avgas in a pinch. Just wondering if anyone has had trouble using mogas with ethanol or is it much better to stick with non-ethanol? I have to drive about 45 minutes round trip to find the 93 octane and I'm probably one of the few that buy it, so I also worry about water and crap in the fuel.
Thanks Randy

Thanks Randy Hi Tecberry, Rotax says we can burn up to 10% but NO ethanol would be best, but like you said hard to find I use this treatment to remove the ethanol β¦β¦ absolutely no fuel issues or water in the fuel β¦.. I have over a thousand hours on my P2008 914. Approximately 70% E10 and 30% avgas. No problems other than the time I got water from an avgas pump. Ed

I use 91 no ethanol in my SLING 2, most of the year. Im in the northeast, so once the weather starts to cut into my flying time I add 100LL to keep the octane level high. I add a little Decalin also.
