External Power Supply

I'm curious if anyone has an external power supply for the P2008.  Note that I haven't decided whether to buy the plane, but I have to decide whether to sell or keep my Cirrus external power unit. I'm pretty sure that Cirrus is a 24v plane whereas Tecnam is 12v so I would imagine the power unit won't work with the Tecnam, but just want to be sure.  Assuming Tecnam's unit would be a different one I'm curious what's out there, what they cost, etc.

I bought mine at an auto parts store. And this connected to the standard power connector.

I’ll send you a picture of my GPU. A previous owner bought it.

The Tecnam is 12v so no Cirrus compatibility unless your unit has some sort of a variable voltage switch.

My plane has a connection port on the pax side fuselage. It’s one of the big 3 connector plugs.

Just resized I don’t have a photo. I’ll take one at the hangar next week for you.

Do a search on this forum. Type in "ground power unit". Scroll down about four posts to one by Tony. He has a link on his post to a ground power unit that some of us use. Just a note of interest. This forum has been running for a few years and we have hashed out many topics. You can find a lot of answers by doing a search on a specific topic. Not trying to stifle discussion just trying to be helpful. Take care.
