I have the 912iS option and mine has a keyed master switch.

My 2021 P2008T N85DW also has a keyed master switch/starter.

For the most part planes don’t have keys. Planes from the big three have keys for the single engine planes. All twins and larger planes don’t. I had an American Champion Scout that just had a master switch. Apparently the thinking is “If you can start it and fly it it’s yours. There was a lot of controversy about this father 911. Ed

My 2007 Diamond DA 42 twin had a key.

Thanks all . First I think it used keyless start (RFID) like new model of automobile. Finally It just on-off button
