I emailed the factory to ask what was involved in SB643 to increase the MTOW of the P2010 to 1220kg. (20kg increase for me).
They replied...
New placard for manoeuvring speed P/N 26-10-1010-14 New updated software Garmin (006-B4035-010 or newest version) AFM Ed2Rev6 or the newest version
They also said they do not have US approval yet, but are working on it. I asked to be informed when they get it.
But no mechanical upgrades required.

The service bulletin had a generic contact technical.support@tecnam.com The reply came from Gennaro Guarino Technical Support _____________________________________________ Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM S.p.A Capua Plant Via Maiorise 81043 Capua (CE) Italy Office: +39 0823 622297 Fax: +39 0823 622899 Email: technical.support@tecnam.com Website: www.tecnam.com

And just to be clear, that is for the Tecnam P2010 "TDI" only. I don't know why Tecnam doesn't pursue an increase to the IO-390 too! I believe it would be more competitive when it comes to useful load!

For my P2010 IO-390 215HP
Changing the MTOW from 1160kg to 1220kg would be a significant specification improvement.
The IO-390 has more power than the TDI so that's not going to be an issue.
