I am expecting my new P2008 soon. It has the factory upgraded avionics, so the dual G3X screens. No external navigator, though I may add one later. My question is: with this factory-new setup without alteration, can I connect my iPad/Foreflight to the G3X and upload flight plans to the G3X and display ADSB information on the iPad? With my old Cirrus I could do all that because I added Flightstream to my avionics. Thanks.

Yes, you should be able to upload flight plans. Not sure about ADSB to the iPad. Did you get a Sirius XM subscription?

I haven't decided on any subscriptions. I am not even 100% sure if the avionics support Sirius XM. Given that I hope to be a fair weather flyer, as opposed to my Cirrus (where I had Sirius XM weather), it may well be that ADSB is sufficient.

You can have your Sirius subscriptions if you want them. They aren’t going to miss their chance to Hoover up your dollars.
