I see the Astore is no longer listed on the Tecnam website. Perhaps the P-Mentor version is taking 100% of the production capacity with a large order book from flight schools.

OK, Tecnam just got FAA Part 23 approval for the P-Mentor. MTOW 1,587 lbs, 959 lbs empty 37 gallons fuel, variable prop. 912is. Filling that order book will take 100% of the Astore version. Maybe the Astore will return as a MOSAIC offering with a 916is?

Looks like the Astore has been discontinued in the US market in favor of the P-Mentor. Virtually the same plane except the P Mentor is now certified with a higher useful load. Anyone know what kind of structural enhancements were made to the airframe? Looks like the empty weight has increased about forty pounds or so, but that could be the C/S prop in the certified plane plus the slightly higher tail and bigger fuel tanks.
