I own a 2017 P2008. When I engage my auto pilot the plane oscillates in pitch gradually building in range.
My pitch settings are pitch torque 85% with gain setting of 1.5.
Roll torque 85% with roll gain of 1.25.
Please reply back with what settings you use.
note plain hand flys and trims neutral as it should.
HI Tecjim,
I did the servo swap out and changed my servo settings….. I had the same issue your having Mine is now 100% no up or down pitch issues. Going to get the settings for you😊 Just for reference I used the ones Glen had posted after my servo swap out
Have any of you installed the new Garmin GSA 28 servo’s ? Just got off the phone with Garmin I am doing the exchange program where they send you the new updated servos charge you $2000.00 then you return the old servos and they refund your money. I am doing the exchange on my up coming Annual in September.
So if any of you have completed this I am hoping you share your installation experience. From what I have read it looks pretty straight forward, from what the manual says. Also Garmin informed me the the servo’s should automatically update once connected to the G3X auto pilot system.
