I just completed the Rotax 5 year rubber and both fuel pumps were replaced with the new P/N 889703.
They show the same indicated fuel pressures but now when the plane is off the pilots side vent line weeps fuel. The vent under the plane not the wing vents . If the fuel selector is in the OFF position then the weeping stops. I never shut the fuel valve to off before and always left it right or left, but looks like I’m going to have to start. The mechanic says on a high wing with the new pumps that it’s normal and to goto OFF always. Anyone else see this? What are your shut down procedures?
