And here is the Tecnam sales information for first and second quarter of 2016. These are worldwide sales. Not sure I understand the ASTM-LSA line, perhaps Mark can elaborate?

If I remember right the ASTM-LSA line includes P2008s and Astores sold in the US as LSAs. The other figures represent various models outside the US. One of the 2002 lines is the Astore but I forget which one.

So the models with J are the EASA certified (overseas sales)? And if so, are the ASTM-LSA only US sales? That would mean 38 Tecnam LSA in the first 6 months? Seems too high.

I don't know, Greg - they have delivered A LOT of airplanes ... perhaps Mark can comment. I don't think the lines double count but perhaps they do. It may also include older LSAs (Sierra and P92) that were delivered in the first half.
I am editing to add the text of footnote 6 (which is part of the Tecnam table that Greg posted):
"6. CubCrafters CC11, Diamond Aircraft HK36 Motor Glider, Flight Design GmbH ASTM CT Series, and TECNAM ASTM LSA models are included in civil make-model shipment total, but not summary tables. GAMA will further integrate CS-VLA and S-LSA aircraft into future shipment reports."
So, honestly, I don't know what the numbers mean or what this footnote really means in terms of how to interpret the quarterly numbers. Better minds than me will surely know the answers ...
Cheers

It does not sound to unreasonable to me. They have sold a lot to universities and flight schools. Certainly it is not all to individual LSA pilots. If that were true, our forum would have more user ID's Has anyone figured out how many individuals have Tecnam's and could we get a list so we could EMail those individuals about the forum. I am sure many are unaware of the forum.

The LSA numbers are mostly from the USA but some from other countries also. I tried to get the exact number from Tecnam but it got confusing with the dates of actual deliveries between countries etc and how it was then reported to GAMA. I need to update the usa customer list again. Hoping to get a mailer out to all P2008 and Astore owners this week with an invite to join the forum.
