Who is attending?
I will be there for the whole show Thursday through Saturday. Will have both a P2008 and an Astore there. This is an excellent place to get a demo flight!
If you plan to attend and would like to get a demo flight in either the P2008 or Astore please give me a call and I will schedule it!
Evenings are pretty quiet so a good time for socializing and catching up. Good hotels and restaurants nearby.

Ok, so I am now hoping to fly to KMVN on Thursday and come back on Saturday or Sunday, weather and work permitting. Will be the first trip of any length since Florida; planning a fuel stop about halfway at North Little Rock (KORK) but am open to other suggestions. I have booked a room at the Fairfield Inn and Suites ...
If things go well, I plan to fly to Gulfport the following week for a poker tournament... About 400 nm. But mid-September along the Gulf Coast can be rather tropical, so WX will be a big contingency. But having flown back from KGPT already, I know the route and the airport as well as process for crossing our Bravo ...
I need some traveling time now - that's why I bought the Astore, not just for local practice (which is also important!). In any case, I will keep folks (particularly Mark) posted as the date draws near. We have a couple tropical systems potentially inbound over the next 5-7 days so local WX here will likely stay challenging.

I should note that I elected not to go to this show; a group of high school friends and I go to Las Vegas every 18 months or so, and they called me last week and made a better offer! It also turns out that the WX today is not so great either here in Houston or in the St. Louis area, so things could have been chancy either way. But good luck to the Tecnam folks at the show and let's hope the weather is good for y'all!

I will, Ray - I was in Vegas last weekend (flew commercial) for a quick trip to connect with some old HS friends ... I planned a route from Houston so do plan to make the flight at some point. What's funny is that the United flight on the way back basically followed the route I planned - about 20 miles north of what I did but otherwise the exact same route! I was thinking about KHND rather than Boulder City because it's closer in to the City; North Las Vegas seems out of the way if you're coming in from the SE as I would be and of course, KLAS would be a cluster in a LSA ...

I just read your post..... Sorry I missed you!👍🏻🇺🇸😎✈️🐾 Yes...... They don't let you get close to KLAS...... I requested clearance many times to fly the Las Vegas Strip..... Always NO! I did get routed to an near Nellis AFB were I was stationed for seven years......... I an got a chance to fly by a couple F-16s ( was Lucky an even got to fly one! During my career ) it was awesome!
