Hi All,
I have the 2012 P-2008 which has the standard halogen bulb mounted in the left wing ...... I was wondering if anyone know of a plug an play replacement Led landing light ....... The Halogen works fine, I would like to go led I have heard they are a little brighter an consume much less power .....

They are insanely bright! Really quite amazed actually when I leaned over and caught the bright beams in the face. Sorry, no idea for a drop in replacement. I'm sure Mark would know though!

This is the one on Mark's demo P2008. It looks like an LED unit.

I suggest calling Aaron in Sebring. I'm sure he can get one for you.
Not sure if the bulb is the same as on the newer planes w the landing light in the cowl but I expect they are.

Great White 711 Led PAR 36 works well and it's cheap

Hi Dave,
Wow, if that's a good substitute, it really is cheaper. Checking Google, I found prices from $46 to $78.
How'd you cross reference to find it?
Glenn

Re post 3 up,I am now Kiwi55 after registering. We have a Tecnam Bravo in Auckland New Zealand. Sick of replacing the landing lamp so visited the local truck supplier. It is a Par38 lamp which is very standard. We fitted it about 6 months ago with no problems. I was concerned re interference with the radio but it has not been a problem. Much brighter than the oringinal too. Dave j
