I know I keep trying to convince myself a plane like the P92 will be good enough. But you know how it goes. "Well, if I'm going to spend that much, I might as well spend a little more and get what I really want."

I know this is a really old thread, but I'm just curious as to "what I really want" applies to? I know I keep trying to convince myself a plane like the P92 will be good enough. But you know how it goes. "Well, if I'm going to spend that much, I might as well spend a little more and get what I really want."

Hi Chris, At the time I was shopping I wanted the power of the 914 turbo and the wider cabin. And that's how I justified spending more for the P2008.

I know what you mean. I bought a 2000+ hour P92 Echo Super first (N406ES). It was a great plane, but I decided I wanted something new instead. I put the Super up for sale, and bought my current P92 ECD (N323TA). Very happy!
