I had my first 100 hour inspection completed yesterday by SouthTec Aviation. It was an all day affair (0930-1630) so plan accordingly. A couple squawks were identified. The first one was a warped wheel. It appears to have been a defect from the MATCO factory. The second issue were 3 small cracks in the paint along the line where the fuselage is put together. All of the findings will be covered by my warranty and luckily they do not impact airworthiness; however, I will be without my plane for a week or so to have it repaired. While the airframe inspection is not required by Tecnam (only recommended), it proved to be valuable yesterday.
PS - still waiting on the invoice...

I took my P 2008 in for an Annual 3 weeks ago. The A & P is excellent but this is the first time he's worked on one so it's a learning experience for all. There were some problems with the spinner bulkhead with some cracks, coolant reservoir leaks and the usual odds and ends. I'm really curious what the bill will be. I was telling Mark Gregor about the spinner and he graciously offered to pick up the tab. I really wasn't expecting that. Just goes to show you what a nice guy he is. I'm glad I ordered my new one from him

Hey y'all, does anyone know if not having a 100 hour will void the warranty?
