I'm going to start working on organizing a Tecnam fly-in. To assist with my planning efforts, please post your hometown here. I'll try to pick a central location.
I'll start. Atlanta GA.

To heck with all of you! *laughing* I think central means somewhere in the central US ... maybe Memphis area? We may need two locations; one more western and another more eastern because if we go with what's been suggested, the folks west of the Pecos will have to miss it in all likliehood ...
Cheers

Here's the current approximate plotted locations of Tecnam owners. Looks like Memphis is currently the closest to center!

Tim: It is about time you got an Avatar. Did you make that cute fella, or is it a stock picture? Ok, OK, it is an actual photograph of you............ Flocker: I am also in Inverness FL (KINF), about 20 miles south of Ocala (KOCF). Yea, I think Memphis or Nashville would work. I don't mind flying 5 or 6 hours. There is no way one location could satisfy everyone in the country. USA is too big and our planes are too small. I think you need to get a commitment on who may attend. For example, if no one is coming from Minneapolis or Chicago, there would be no point in going as far north as Nashville. If no one is coming from Houston or farther west, think Atlanta. I guess we need to pick a month for starters. Are you thinking 2017 spring time? Summer ? Once we get a month, folks will know better if they are able to attend. Roger

if this fall, it will need to be soon, as the cold weather will knock out everyone up north. For the same reason, not in the winter. That is why I said spring or summer. I have no objection to one in late November this year, except that may be to soon for everyone to organize their schedules. Seems like April is about the earliest practical date. My schedule is pretty open so anytime works for me, anytime of the year. That is easy for me to say, being mostly retired and living in the south. But it is much tougher for northerners and those in the middle of their career. I also suppose it could be in conjunction with a regional aviation event. Sun-n-fun would be a good time but it is not centrally located, so it is out. Don't know where the AOPA events will be in 2017. Have you heard?

We are again working on a fly-in! Tentatively planning for middle to later part of March in Nashville.
Flocker and his wife are working on a few fun ideas.
All Tecnam owners and enthusiasts are invited! Keep your schedule open for this event! Firm dates will be announced soon.

I would be happy to offer one of our FBO's as the Fly-In location. We are centrally located in Indianapolis and are a Tecnam Dealer and Service Center. We have two FBO's and lots of hangar space to put together an event.
