I always go every year, at least 1 day. I usually pick a day the weather looks great.l It is only 60 minutes from my home airport. If anyone else is going, I could plan my schedule to coincide. Roger

Thoughts from the show: I liked the new layout entering from the Terminal. The far left grounds were the drone area, which I did not visit. Attendance was about the same as last year in my opinion, with a solid amount of demo flights. The Tecnam hangar, instead of being off to the side of show grounds, was now front and center at the show. The Tecnam hangar looked terrific, with MzeroA's 2006T sitting in there. The new Sierra was very attractive, and had a lot of lookers. The demo flights I saw were the P2008, the Astore, and the P2006T. I don't think I saw the Sierra go on a test flight.
As to the other exhibitors, the Sling 4 plane was there, and that was a fairly busy booth. They are planning on offering the 915 in that aircraft. Garmin's booth was inside the terminal, and was fairly small, but constantly busy. The new Legend SLSA was interesting, (looks like a mini 182), but the aircraft interior didn't look as nice as I had hoped. Bristell was there, and their product always looks great. The Sportcruiser was there as well, and the main attraction in that booth seemed to be the two models Sportcruiser hired! CTLS/Aerojones had a booth, displaying a CTLS and CTLSi. They were clearly used aircraft, with worn interiors. I was hoping to see an actual Aerojones aircraft. The Jabiru was there, but the booth was quiet. Gyrocopters were all around, and those are fun to watch, but don't fit my mission.
The inside group of vendors was smaller than I hoped, but I did see Duc and Beringer in there. Beringer is a family owned business and they build a great product. Flocker and I attended the Beringer forum. I did not get to the Rod Machado presentation on humor, but I could hear the attendees laughing so I guess I should have gone to that one!
Food was the Runway cafe, and they also had several food trucks there. Ate lunch off a BBQ truck, and lived to tell the tale. Pretty good food!
I did attend the Rotax forum, and Phil Lockwood gave a good presentation. Unfortunately he ran over the time limit, and I was not able to ask any questions about the 915is, which I'm very interested in.
Lots of SLSA on display, and if you were in the market for small aircraft, this was definitely a show to attend. If I think of more I'll post those thoughts as well.

A few shots of planes being moved for demo flights. The Astore and P2008 were busy going out, but I had never seen a P2006 demo flight. Private customer interested. I guess I should have asked Shannon for a demo flight in that now that I think about it!

A few other aircraft of note. The Sling 4, which has a unique market position. The Legend LSA, the "mini 182". The good old Carbon Cub. A Flocker favorite.
