Decided to add a little health insurance to my plane. Don't know about you but the trailing edge of my wing is right where it will eventually cause me to take a trip to urgent care. So I purchased some pool noodles. I sliced them down one side and they work perfect. 1 1/2 noodles for flaps and cut two inches off one for ailerons. Next I will get tennis balls, slice one side and place on flap hinge. I will also tie all parts on each side with para cord so that I am assured to not forget a piece.

That flap hinge is no joke.

Buzz, that's a great idea. I gotta do that too.
No telling how many times I've walked into a wing while my mind and my eyes were on something in my hands. I've sliced open my head so many times on Cessnas that I decided I must wear a baseball cap when I'm in the hangar. The caps have saved me a few times cause I keep forgetting to DUCK!
