Just announced at Sun-and Fun. The Sierra will get the 135 HP, fuel injected, turbo 915 engine.

Expect improved climb performance, not much change in cruise speed.

Bristell has a video on youtube showing 145 knots with a 915. Clearly not SLSA category at that speed!

Interesting information starting to come out about the 915 and what it might be installed in. Rumors or some wishful thinking? Too early to tell but here's a few: 1. Rotax wants it used with a constant speed prop but they might even eventually approve a fixed pitch or ground adjustable prop. 2. The LSA speed limit will be raised above 120 KTS 3. The LSA manufacturer will publish a limitation on on max continuous power ( keep the speed legal) like Cub Crafters did (see POH page) Glenn

I spoke to a salesman at Sebring a couple of weeks ago. He said the 915 Sierra will launch in Europe first and may be available in the US next year.
