I have replaced my Bravo with a Sierra. I am waiting for the Annual to complete so I can bring it home. This was the flight from Denton Texas to Oceanside, CA

Great shots! Interested to hear why you went from a Bravo to a Sierra.

Nice ride and trip! Quite ambitious is the Sierra ... would be curious to know how long it took, your route, etc. I lived for 25 years in the San Diego area and have considered a trip out there from Houston.
Thanks!

The Trip from Denton to Oceanside. I had originally planned about 500 miles per day. Forecast was good weather but shortly after leaving Denton the weather started to go down hill. A storm from the north was coming in earlier than forecast. I had originally planned to stop near Odessa but the weather was not permitting. I detoured to Wink Texas. That is the picture of the plane by the fuel pump. Stopped for fuel and to use the bathroom and then back in the air heading for Deming New Mexico. After landing in Deming the weather was not looking good. WX Brief told me to expect snow in the morning. I had planned to overnight in Deming. With snow coming and after talking to WX I decided to head out for Tucson. Winds were favorable and I managed to stay ahead of the weather coming in. The mountains near Tucson were my key. Once I cleared them the weather was no longer an issue. I turned north and went to Glendale for my overnight. The next day it took just 2.5 hours to get from Glendale (near Phoenix) to reach Oceanside. 1st day I was able to make just about 750 miles.

The change from the Bravo to the Sierra, The Bravo was a very basic VFR equipped plane. The Sierra has a full panel, an auto pilot, dual com and nav. radios.
