I did a round trip from Gary-Chicago (KGYY) to Smyrna, TN (KMQY) this past weekend. Total engine time around 6.6 hours with ground time and warm ups. Flight time was about 3.0 each way— 122-125 KTAS @ 5400 rpm, 8500, 9500, or 6500 ft depending on clouds. I have a 914 engine.
I averaged 5.8 gph total fuel consumption.
What kind of GPH are any of you getting at similar cruise?
Thanks!

I run my Astore at close to 5500 rpm in cruise (or with my current prop pitch, close to WOT without the turbo) in cruise. That costs me a little more in fuel flow (6-6.25 gph) but then I am getting 126-130 knots TAS depending on altitude.
Before I made the adjustments to my prop, I was getting similar fuel flow to yours (5.8 or thereabouts) at 122-123 knots in cruise.
The 912iS is the real fuel miser - that engine is down in the 4 gph range if memory serves...
