Facet electric fuel pump filter screen

Does anyone know that there is a filter in the Facet electric fuel pump? The Tecnam Maintenance manual (P92) doesn't mention it, I found it out of curiosity. My engine has nearly 600h and the gascolator has always been spotless. The filter in the Facet pump is much finer and had accumulated some debris. The metal lid also contains a magnet.

My suggestion is to add this filter inspection every 500h or 5 years to the maintenance list.

I have forwarded this to the Australian Tecnam distributor, he agrees that it should be in the maintenance task list and is reporting this back to the factory. Hopefully it will be included in an updated version of the O&M manual one day.
