Hello All, The flap position indicator suddenly stopped working! Double checked all CB’s all good & Flaps worked as advertised, just had to look out the window an guess there approximate position. When Landing kinda distracting, but made do. I pulled the headliner down ( A royal pain! To do ) I found the wiring harness that connects to the flap position potentiometer one wire was completely broken the other just about broken the wires were just to short and had no flexibility at all it was just a matter of time till they broke. I extended the original harness with 18 gauge super flexible silicone wire which gave the needed play so the actuator can complete its travel ( some of us refer to it as noodle wire ) and replaced the connectors. Ops check good cycled numorus times all good I also suggest on your next annual take a look at yours mine broke at about 450 hours I tried to up load some pictures but, site say technical issues being repaired soon that’s a new one! We're really sorry about this, but due to an angry bear server issues we could not load this forum. Our technicians are aware of this problem and hope to have the Err Bear under control this situation sorted shortly! Ray & Lucy ✈️🐾👍🏻😊😎🇺🇸 Attachments:

IMO the flap position indicator isn't all THAT important but we have to wonder what else Tecnam didn't install very well.
I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures whenever you can upload them.
