This is a typical conversation with ATC.
Me: ...Light Sport 110TU type P208... ATC: Is that a Cherokee? Me: Negative not a P28, it's a P208, Tecnam P2008 Light Sport ATC: Is that an experimental? Me: Negative. It's an LSA ATC: Standby
I have been called a Cherokee and a Cessna (when visual) by ATC on numerous occasions.
Finally this weekend a break through when I heard ATC say this to a plane behind me in the pattern:
ATC: ...Number 2 to land behind that high wing turning base. It's a light sport.
WooHoo!

If I had a $1 every time I've been called a Caravan, I could afford to buy a Caravan!

If I had a $1 every time I've been called a Caravan, I could afford to buy a Caravan! I guess they just assume it's a mistake when they see P208. P208? C208? What's the difference?
