My problem with the strobe light is the way it's attached to the aircraft. The forward rivnut for one of my strobe lights is loose. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I really can't understand why Tecnam has used this method to attach the nav-strobe lights to the wing tip since it is composite. Just about any kind of blind fastener is going to be troublsome in composite construction (rivnut, nutserts, etc.). I've used these sucessfully in metal but I've had issues in fiberglass and composite. Anyone have a better idea? Glenn I have a problem with the tail position light. I've never been able to visualize a fastener that will stay tight in the fiberglass since there is no way possible to get to the inside of the area.
