Any other Tecnam pilots attending this event?  I’m departing KTRK Truckee, CA tomorrow morning. My wife and I will spend a couple days in KYKM Yakima, WA visiting family on the way to the fly-in. On our return home we’ll spend a couple days in S21 Sun River, Oregon.

We'll be there - Marshall and Kathy Friedman. We live about 1 1/2 hours north, so it will probably be easier to leave the Astore home and drive down. My cell is 406-261-7950. We should be there between 10-11. Give me a call around that time and we'll arrange to meet.

Hi Marshall. I landed in Yakima this morning. The Missoula weather has taken a turn for the worse. At this juncture it looks unlikely that I’ll want to tangle with that weather. If I end up going I’ll give you a call. Thanks for reaching out.

Thanks for that, John. Yakima is actually a fun place to visit. I just looked at the weather, and it shows a 92% chance of rain in Missoula by mid-morning on Saturday, so unfortunately, it looks like the fly in could be a snafu. Good traveling!

Darn, my Dad and I were planning on attending. Stinks to hear about that forecast! Are any of y’all planning on being there Friday?

50/50 whether we'll go on Friday. The major activities are all on Saturday. The only thing to see on Friday would be other airplanes and the exhibitor's area. My guess re "other airplanes" is that the turnout is going to be light because of Saturday's weather so not lots of airplanes and I'm not sure if I want to drive an hour and a half each way with NW Montana summer traffic that can turn it into 2 1/2 hours each way just to see the exhibitors' offerings. You are welcome to call me Thursday night (my phone number is above) since there will be a better fix on the weather and I'll have decided whether or not to go.
