Upgraded to 6.1. Did not fly yet but no problems or ‘messages’ when completed. Flew a couple of times with the 6.0 and had no issues.

Flew for 1.4 today. No issues. One item I noted—seems to be an enhancement, was the way the map looked on the MFD for the approach settings into a multi runway class-d field. Very easy to adjust angle to the airport for best intersect to base and final settings. Made it, for me, a quicker set up.

I flew with 6.1 today and all seemed well until I headed into KSFB and got this weird alerting behavior. Will keep an eye on it to see if it happens again.

Improve display of Mogas availability I didn't know it had this to begin with. Any idea on how to find this?

I would love to hear about the new VNAV functionality from someone who has a GTN coupled to the G3X. I didn't realize that wasn't already available. All I know is that I can't get VNAV functionality from the GPS20a which is dumb.

Improve display of Mogas availability I didn't know it had this to begin with. Any idea on how to find this? I'm guessing it's in the AOPA Airport Directory database. Not sure it's worth $195/Yr. Any subscribers on here?

Tony, I have that setup. What specifically are you looking for? Mike, I’d love to hear what new functionality you get with this VNAV enhancement in regards to flying approaches. I’ve always assumed that the G3X autopilot with a GTN could fly the step downs for you on approaches but that may not be the case. I eventually want to add a GTN in order to fly coupled approaches.
