Assuming everything goes through, I am the buyer of N837TA that Mackattack is selling. Its new home will be 5TX0 (DFW area; just south of Denton, Hidden Valley Airpark in Shady Shores, TX).
I've got about 2.5 hours in a Tecnam P2002 Sierra, and I really liked that aircraft except I did not like the baggage arrangement. Once I became aware of the Astore and all its enhancements vs. the Sierra, I started looking for one, particularly one with a 914. I am really looking forward to owning N837TA.
I'm a 40+ year private pilot with time in a lot of different aircraft, mostly experimental, and for the last few years I've been operating as a sport pilot. Currently flying a Zenith CH750 STOL, so this will be the "opposite" end of the performance envelope as vs. my current 78 knot cruise. Of course, it is an S-LSA... this will actually be the first airplane I've ever owned that was NOT and Experimental AW cert of one form or another.
Anyway, really looking forward to being an Astore owner.

Welcome Danal! I hope it works out because If you buy it, you’re going to love it. I have flown it from Houston as far as Daytona Beach and up to Minnesota, as well as all over Texas and the southeast. Great traveling machine and perfect for the mission you describe. Feel free to ping me with any questions, either before or after the sale. This is a small but great community of pilots. I have made good friends here and I hope you do too. I would really love it for 837TA to stay in the Lone Star State then I might hear the call sign from time to time!

Nice! Do you know Glenn Dugger who owns a P2008 out of Hidden Valley? I live in McKinney and have taken a few trips out to visit Glenn at that air park. Love it!

Congrats Danal! I am so glad my bird found a good home. She’s a great traveler, very comfortable and I’m really happy that your wife likes it! If you find yourself coming to Houston please give me a heads up - would love to buy you (and your wife) lunch on one of your trips!
I will keep my ears peeled on freq for your call sign!
