Recently learned my prop has some cracks around the hub. I would assume the prop cannot be refurbished. So, what can I expect to have to spend for a new prop as original or as some upgrade? I have been on probably a hundred websites and stores and cannot get an answer or even an idea of the cost. Anybody?

I assume it’s a fixed pitch prop. If it is I would call Sensenich or Whirlwind. They should be able give you answers. Ed

OK. So after much hand wringing and concern I found that Sensenich has a direct replacement for the original fixed pitch prop. It was only about $1,400 which I was pleased with since I thought it would be more. Only problem is the lead time which right now is 4-5 weeks. Given we are still in summertime weather patterns that's not the worse thing, seasons wise, but I would still rather have the airplane available. I decided against a 3 blade since it takes an LOA and more money.

I have a two blade Sensenich removed from my Astore at 80 hours. I replaced with a three blade. It's white with red tips. Looks brand new. $$1,000 including shipping to USA with hub.
