Looking back at a copy of a post from 2017, it appears that there might be some confusion as to whether the fuel capacity of the Astore is 27 gallons or 29 gallons. Can anybody definitively confirm or contradict that?

29 US gals. Of which 14.4 usable per side according to the POH. 28.8 is supposed to be usable, but in practice it’s really not. When I had 2.5 gallons remaining on final descent, I was losing fuel pressure and getting sputtering when I transitioned to a nose down attitude. So I would really say that only about 26 gallons is practically usable, since you have to nose down for descent and who wants to have the alarm of an intermittent engine on descent. Wherever the fuel pickup is on the tanks, once you’re down to the last 1-1.5 gallons in each tank, it seems to just slosh right past the fuel pickup.
