What kind of fuel burn are you achieving for cross country cruise? My gallons per hour is in the 6.7 to 7.0 range at sustained full rpm setting of 5400 rpm.
I have a P2008 914. I realistically top out at 127-128 ktas at 5400 rpm as a cruise speed. I use mainly mogas (91 no ethanol) when I fuel up locally but refuel at destinations with AvGas. The in-betweens will be mixed fuel. I’ve noted no difference in performance related to fuel type.
When operating in the 4800-5200 range just playing around locally I’m in the high 5 to low 6 gph.
How does everyone else do?

I average about 4.75 gph in my Astore/914, using Costco's 91 mogas. I keep to approx 5000 rpm for cross country, which translates to a slightly lower airspeed but significantly better range.

With the 914 P2008, I flight planned for 6 gallons an hour, and that was very accurate. I was not getting 127-128 knots true, closer to 120-123. I normally flew at 5400 rpm. I never had Mark really dial my prop in, so I'm guessing there were a few more knots to gain!

My airplane (914 Astore) is finally in the shop to install the transducers for the fuel flow gauge. My guess is that, with all of the other work they have in my shop, that it will take them a couple of weeks to complete the installation and connect it to the G3X. Then, once we get a flyable day here in NW Montana, I'll fly it and we'll have fuel flow numbers for every 50 rpm above 5,000. I will also note the TAS at each setting.

P2008 914 My numbers are inline with Cluemeisters numbers. When I flew it from Sebring to Seattle it worked out to 6 gph.
