Does anyone know the size of the lockable baggage compartment on a 2012 P92 Eaglet? It looks to be about an 18" cube.
Also, why is this compartment not on the W&B? In fact it is not even mentioned at all in the POH. Odd.

I have a 2010 Eaglet and it has no lockable baggage compartment, only the space behind the seats. I believe even the G5 (recent model) has no lockable baggage area.
The space behind the seats is large enough for a port that fits hand luggage specs on an airliner, plus some small soft bags.

It does have a lockable storage compartment - Pilot's side below the rearmost window you can see it in the upside down photo. Not sure why this happened and absolutely no idea how to fix it. LOL It is in for maintenance 3hr round trip drive to the airport. I'd like to get a storage box for it from Bed & Bath is the reason I'm asking about the measurements rather than just measuring it myself. Also, I did the W&B in foreflight and the Arm for the Baggage compartment is 89.77" whereas the Pilot & Passenger is 72.05" so this is probably the baggage area behind the front seats. I wonder why there are not two baggage compartments listed in the POH or is this area close enough to the backseat area that it does not need a second arm? If so, then the max weight of the combined areas is 44 pounds? Confusing...  |
