I have a Tecnam P008T, that went in for its 200 service 2 months ago. Since getting the aircraft back, I have noticed what may be a problem. During take off, when I go past the 100% mark (indent) and into boost mode, its takes a bit of time before the boost actually kicks in. This morning, I had to actually abort my take off, as there was not much runway left once I felt the boost kick in. I am in Florida and its very hot at the moment, so not sure if that is a factor.
Any ideas?

Does it only happen at 100%? Is it sputtering at 100%, or just slow to kick in, and then it's fine? I had a problem that turned out to be the carb bowls being over tightened. It only showed up at 100%. I could fly and takeoff up to the indent, but anything past resulted in an unsettling sputter. Gets your attention on takeoff for sure.
My two guesses are carb bowl issue or waste gate issue.

No spluttering. Basically I increase the throttle to 100 % the engine runs fine. Then I increase through the indent. However, it takes some time for the boost to kick in. 3 to 4 secs. However, yesterday it was about 10 secs and I abandoned the take off.

I had a similar problem and it was also the carb bowls. I sent the carbs off to Lockwood and all good since then (3 years).

Check the waste gate adjustment and the calibration of the TPS switch both will give a slow turbo spin up. There is normally a 2 to 3 second delay for the Turbo to spin up. What is your manifold pressure and rpms on take off roll?

I flew it over to Lockwood and it turned out to be a Throttle cable issue. The fix was to debar the cable and adjust.

it was actually getting stuck when I move into boost mode. it was only slight. What seems to be happening, the vibration then released it and the boost kicked in. They tried it a few times and it was certainly getting caught. After the fix, it was tested a few times. I flew it home and had not problem during take off. Really simple.
