Looking for pipe thread size & length of the Curtis Quick opening brass drain valve used on the P2008 Wing Tank drain system. It appears that a solid substance... possibly caused by the use of Decalin fuel additive... has built up within the valve preventing a full flow of fuel during the sampling process & an occasional extended drip. Given that I am touring the Eastern of the US for the next month l do not have access to pull out the existing valve & measure... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you think it might be caused by Decalin?

Just a guess... the valve has “seeped” since I bought it last August.... I usually twist/push/pull on valve to stop drips.. airplane set for 4_weeks due to COVID issues prior to our trip... noticed that the valve was clogged with a brittle tan crystalline substance that seemed to obstruct flows during sampling tests... used small metal rods to clear Substance, but flow is still less than originally experienced... since the substance was not stained blue, I postulated a precipitation of a lead-based compound as evaporation of the 100LL seepage took place... just a guess as my chemistry background is rather obsolete... open to suggestions... basic problem is lack of FBOs providing mogas as we travel....
