The P2008 fleet operating in various parts of the world is large enough to show what needs to be redesigned or strengthened. Perhaps Tecnam and Rotax should carefully re-examine the engine mount. I doubt the cracking of 2 engine mounts is unique to your plane. Possible but highly unlikely.

Quick update: Tecnam met me halfway on the engine mount. It had to be shipped from Italy to Sebring. It should be in my hands on Tuesday. Hope to be back in the air sometime next week.

Last time I had to pay full price for the mount and request ("fight for") a reimbursement. This time they applied the "discount" up front with no argument so I guess that is an improvement.
