Oh, I did not know you do not have your plane yet. Wonder why they are taking so long to get your plane delivered, or did you request that late date to coincide with your Private license?
I am happy to travel for a get-together. I think Chattanooga area is a great central location. Sooooo fun flying the mountains. Flown up there a few times to play around. A nice 4 hour flight from me.
Actually my speed estimate is quite accurate.
The delay in my plane arriving is due to a delay in ordering the plane.
I started looking into flying in earnest in November, and then attended the Light Sport Expo in January. Started lessons for a week at the end of March at Lockwood, and then came back to TN where I am finishing up training. Decided in May I would buy a P2008 for sure.I would be happy to fly anywhere for the get together. Maybe the Florida panhandle to accommodate our Texas members? Destin?
I think my joke about our individual planes all being 5 knots faster than all other same make/model fell flat. Guess I won't quit my day job!
