Planning to do some checks on a Rotax 915iS in the near future. What equipment do we need and is there a published procedure? Thanks!

There is a gauge assembly that can be purchased at Lockwood for $109.00. Additionally, there is a video of the procedure on rotax-owner.com.

Hope this post helps someone out in the future. Pay attention to your compression checks. While working on an annual last week we noticed a low compression on cylinder #1. It was right at maximum allowable tolerance (25%) and here is what we found. The damage in the pic was found on the exhaust valve.

93 e-free MOGAS. I had a clogged injector in #1 a while back. We think that's when it started.
