Regarding your random squelch breaks: Make sure it isn't something banging against your passenger headset mike. Also, remove and clean the headset jacks occasionally.

Well I disconnected the wing tip light and didn't have any noise on the comm today. Looks like I need to get busy and order the replacement lights. On another note we had some excitement today at the airport with a guy trying to steal a plane. Fortunately he was seen and he PD came and nabbed him. Funny thing is that he did this in the middle of the day in a wide open tie down area that is very visible. And the plane is hard to miss as it is a straight tail 172 painted bright Blue with some rainbow colored stripes on the side.

I am sure the penalty for Aircraft theft is similar to Grand theft Auto ...... Big jail time ...... must have been a pilot or wan be ......... glad they nailed him! Good news on the squelch problem!
