Mine was completed a few days ago at Lockwood in Sebring. No issues to report. My 912iS runs like a champ. For the new owners on here, start saving your cash. The inspection cost me $500.

Well, ANYTHING done at LOCKWOOD cost money. They have nothing to do with Tecnam. I always assumed Tecnam did the 25 hour gratis, but I am probably wrong on that.
I have had warranty work done at LOCKWOOD, and I don't get my plane out of the doors until I pay in full. When I turn in the bill at Tecnam, it seems to go into a black hole. I have never gotten a dime reimbursement from Tecnam and really don't expect to. I have been told I have some "credit" at their shop. Since they really do not want to do maintenance work, I am not sure how I am going to use this credit.
How did that flight back to Atlanta go?

We were able to do it non-stop averaging 110 kts & 4.5/gal.

Swift 94 unleaded. It's on the field in Sebring next to the self-serve pumps. Here's a link:

I believe the 25-hour was a ROTAX requirement, not a Tecnam requirement. Perhaps Mark can confirm. The logbook entry went into the engine log.

I'm not Mark but yes the 25 hour inspection is a Rotax warranty requirement, not Tecnam. $500 at Lockwood is a good price. When I had mine done on our P2008 it was $760 at Denton, Texas but he spent a little time also checking a few things on the airframe. According to Sebring, you might find it nearly impossible to get warranty coverage from Rotax unless all the work done on your engine is recorded as being done by a Rotax certified technician. Finding a certified IRMT is not as easy as finding a run-of-the-mill A&P so my wife and I both attended the Lockwood 2 day Rotax service in October. It is well worth the money to get certified even if you aren't planning to do any work on your Rotax.
For those of you wondering, yes my wife is also a pilot. The Tecnam is my wife's plane. My plane is an F33A Bonanza.

I took the same class and highly recommend it as well.

Glad you were able to make it over Glenn. This is Drew by the way. We're happy to have you and your wife on here! I would love to go over to Lockwood for that training just to learn as much as I could about these engines as I'll most likely neve be doing any maintenance on them.

Welcome Glenn!
And thanks for answering the question. Somehow I overlooked it.
