Totally confuses ATC still, who will still call you a Centurion or a Caravan or a bunch of other things. But that's the official designation!

I just refer to my self as Tecnam N914BZ. I never say light sport. When they are asking for the ICAO ID it's P208. And like mentioned above I am usually referred to as a Caravan. In addition some of us on here have expressed the desire to have a name associated with our planes like Skyhawk is to the 172. I have personally spoken to top end of Tecnam management about this and they expressed zero interest in a name. Not sure why.

Thanks all. I could not find that information. I'm considering purchasing a p2008t and we will see how things progress with the deal. A P208 does sound like a pressurized Centurion.

I use P208–and when I look myself up after I’m just about anything.
What’s fun is when ATC is talking to me and another plane about spacing they almost always say to the other pilot ‘you have a Caravan at three miles crossing from the West’ or along this lines.
Also, because of airspeed, I’m often called a 182. Lol. It’s fun.

When I had my Astore, calling it a Tecnam Astore (ICAO: ASTO) generally just caused confusion. In quieter moments with ATC we would discuss what an Astore is, but otherwise I would go along with the 'Cessna' response.
