Revised Galaxy Chute Repack Interval

For those of you with Galaxy chute-equipped aircraft, check with the factory before ordering a repack at the six year interval.

My repack was due in October this year, so I asked my maintenance shop to query Galaxy on lead time, availability, cost, etc. This morning, we got a happy communication back from the factory:

We checked this SN of parachute. For this parachute installed in proven inside installation in TECNAM, we can extend the standard 6 year cycle to 9 year cycle unless it is not visually damaged. New guarantee is attached, in 2025 system has to be checked to get another 9 year interval.

Attached was a new guarantee with the shiny, new repack date of 2025. (See below)

I'm not in favor of postponing any needed mx; if the day ever comes when I have to pull the red handle, I want to be confident it'll work. On the other hand, I'm glad to save money and hassle when appropriate!
