Newer aircraft (unsure of the start date) have the gfc500 system and flight control panel. Older aircraft—again unsure of the change-have the gmc305 control panel. But the servo system seems to be common. The auto trim—electric trim feature seems to be be the culprit with the reported issue so it may affect the older-earlier generation AP-trim system as the driver software comes from the G3X common to all systems G3X based.
As Jim posted—the new (rather timely?) G3X system update appears to address the issue for us.
Has anyone experienced the baseline issue that caused the AD?
