Has anyone had to remove the headliner in their P2008? How big of a pain is it? Any tips? I'm experiencing a pretty loud squeal from the area of the flap actuator when deploying or retracting the flaps. This appears to be the only way to get to this area.

Good Morning Flocker,
Yes, it really is a royal pain to remove the head liner. I do it every annual, The first thing is there are screws hidden under the over head light, Remove the seats it make a difficult job much easier when they are out. Take you time and locate every screw. Once all screws are out I bend both edges in word that way you can slide it out either the pilot side or passenger side. For me it seems a little easier from the pilots side.
If you like feel free to call me 702-232-0904 hope this helps you π

Completed the project today. Good news all around. Flap hardware just needed to be lubed. Headliner took about an hour to remove but it's not an extremely difficult task, just time consuming. Thanks to Ray for his guidance. This Forum continues to be an excellent resource.
