There are a lot of us now.
Any interest in a P2008 fly-in at some point in 2023?
Given the areas where most of us live, what would be a decent middle of the road location?
As the new Tecnam US sales and training location is at KMQY, I’m pretty sure Bill, their owner, would assist with an event. But other locations may be more suitable.

I'd be willing to host it at my hangar (KFFC) if we get enough people. We could fire up the Big Green Egg and do some BBQ.

As for the 399 number...Once upon a time I added up all the reported US sales, but then someone told me that they may not be accurate. All I know is that my soon-to-be-delivered (ever hopeful) P2008 would be serial number 206 if I'm not mistaken.

I spoke to Josh with Tecnam (Sebring) the other day and he said they have put together 54 planes so far this year. Mostly 2010's and 2008's. Only 1 Astore.

If averaging 4 a month 206 is three months away! |
