Astore needs a replacement battery. Apparently the original battery is no longer being made. Have any of you come up with this problem, and is there anything that can be used.

I went with the Odyssey PC545 battery. Easy to find and cheap enough.

I just changed my PC545, it was still doing good, on cold days the cranking power was a-lot slower. These are great battery’s I also did my buffer battery at the same time. I'm using spark 500 and I did capacity test following the AMM 24-10, step 4 require discharging the battery at one hour capacity rate to 10 volt but references CMM of FIAMM battery. In my case, do I have to follow this step or just do capacity test by BST-380 tester, as long as the capacity higher than 80% of manufacturer declaration? Thanks all Brgds.   |
