The case of the never ending annual continues. If you're following the maintenance threads you already know that I had to replace a cylinder head due to a cracked exhaust valve. The part came in, we installed it, and then we noticed a small leak from the oil radiator while we were purging the system of air. Lockwood had one in stock and it should be here in a few days. We'll have to drain the circuit and re-purge once the new radiator is installed. Hope to be back in the air soon...
PS - See SI-912-024 R1 / SI-912 i-008 R1 SI-914-025 R1 on the introduction of a new Rotax radiator set. (*dated 19 November 2015)

Radiator arrived yesterday. It goes on tomorrow morning at 7AM! Should be back in the air by lunchtime.

Pretty easy install. The oil system purge took longer than the installation of the new radiator. Annual complete.

Awesome. What was the indicator that it was an issue, not just a seepage?

Awesome. What was the indicator that it was an issue, not just a seepage? Once the new cylinder head was installed, we purged the oil system (per the LMM) and observed oil dripping from the radiator. It was a slow leak, but it was noticeable.
